National park of Marojejy is situated in the north of Madagascar in the town of ANDAPA , classified today as a Unesco world heritage site.
This national Park of 60050 hectares protects a wide range of biodiversity which includes :
• 112 species of lemurs among which the Silky Sifaka; this beautiful white silky fur lemur can only be seen in the Marojejy • More than 100 species of reptiles • More than 100 species of birds, half of them endemic to Madagascar • More than 30 species of palms, some of them endemic to Marojejy
The Parc operates 3 camps , all equipped with beds and bedding and also an area for cooking.
The Mantella trek where the first camp is situated. It is about 3 hours walk from the village • The Simpona trek is a continuation of the Mantella trek, its 2 hours walk from the 1st Camp. • The Marojejy summit trek where the 3rd camp is; The views from the summit are spectacular
The best time to visit The National Park of Marojejy is from : • April to Mai • September to December
